Urban Landscapes inspire art by local Brasilian artists. Taking inspiration from and giving it back to the urban landscape in São Paulo, Brasil. In a time where most of us are too much in a rush to travel from point A to point B without looking up long enough to recede our gaze from our mobile devices, it’s refreshing to see a city, the size of many urban U.S. cities, think of creative ways to allow its landscape to be utilized. Image.Image

The project is called Color+City. It connects businesses that have brick and mortar locations with talented street artists throughout Brasil. Bland walls are transformed from monotonous monotone colors into brilliant hues of paint that expresses a story that was birthed from the minds, fingers and spray cans of local artists. The result is visual experiences that allow the passerby time, even if just for a moment, to pause and escape
