Balotelli signed by Liverpool

Liverpool have agreed to sign striker Mario Balotelli for a £16m fee from AC Milan.

Liverpool’s boss Brendan Rodgers needs the Italy international, 24, to strengthen his attack after last season’s top scorer Luis Suarez joined Barcelona.  Balotelli moved to Milan for from Man City last year and scored 30 goals in 54 games for the Serie A club.

Liverpool travels to the Etihad Stadium in their next Premier League match to face Man City on Monday.
